 The 2021 Silent Thunder Order Fall Retreat & Conference will be held Tuesday, September 28 – Sunday, October 3, 2021. This year’s theme is “ Exploring the Original Frontier, Embracing our Ancestors, Finding our Way”. We invite you to join us in Zen practice and dharma discussions, while getting to know each other. The STO Retreat and Conference is a time for our diverse and widespread sangha to come together to reflect on our Soto Zen practice.  We will also share and discuss our collectively the best way to skillfully move forward and continue to help all beings. 

The retreat will incorporate the STO Annual Conference on October 2. The annual meeting of the Silent Thunder Order Board of Directors this year will focus on continuing implementation of our five-year strategic plan covering 2018-2023. The plan provides guidelines for how we will move forward in sharing the Dharma for future generations.
