Amy “Mumon” Pico has been a member of ASZC since summer of 2020, and took refuge in fall 2020. Starting as a resident, she found the Gassho letters and wondered why ASZC was receiving mail from inmates. In an effort to continue the good work of the dharma that was started over 20 years ago, the Gassho newsletter was resurrected.
