Chanting and Contemplating the Dharma
Join us in this nonconceptual way of internalizing Buddhist teachings.
Thursday Evenings at 7:30 Eastern Standard Time
Atlanta Zoto Zen Center or via Zoom
Lead By MyoSho Nancy Blanton
MyoSho has been a Buddhist for many years. In February 2019 after walking into the Atlanta STO Zen it was clear that it was time to be a Zen Buddhist. She is a retired clinical Social Worker and has been devoted to working with persons with sever mental illness. "Chanting is a joyous practice guiding my Buddhist path. When I began practice, just sitting seemed an enormous feat. After being introduced to chanting, I gave up sitting for lengthy periods. When I went back to a more intensive sitting practice the length of time that I could sit increased. My mind had begun to quiet."
I invite you to join Thursday evenings at 7:30 Eastern Standard Time Atlanta Soto Zen Center or in your own home Via ZOOM.
