Bio: Sensei Shinjin Michael Goldman became a fully transmitted Zen Priest on August 19, 2020. He has trained in Zen with Taiun Elliston Roshi for over 20 years at the Atlanta Soto Zen Center. He also serves a member of the Atlanta Soto Zen Center Board of Directors. In addition to being an ordained Soto Zen Buddhist Priest, Shinjin is also a Nidan (Second Degree Black Belt) in Judo and an active musician. Professionally, Shinjin is a Senior Industrial Hygienist with a major environmental engineering firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Master of Public Health degree from Emory University. Shinjin lives in Atlanta, GA.
