The Four Hundred Discards on the Path of Meditation

Rev. Konjin Godwin is the Director of Soto Zen Buddhism North America International Center. She is also the Abbot/Jushoku of Shounji / Houston Zen Center, where she has served for over 20 years. She received tokudo ordination in 1991 and trained monastically at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center in California for over 12 years. Her Zen training began at the San Francisco Zen Center in 1985. She received ordination in 1991. She trained in Japan at Hosshinji with Harada Sekkei Roshi in 1991-92 and at Zuioji in 2005. Rev. Godwin was appointed Director of the International Center of Soto Zen North America in 2018.
